How easy is it to install the JetFloss on my tap?

It’s very simple and the instructions are on the box and the website.

Does it require any special tools or plumbing knowledge?

No plumbing knowledge is needed and JetFloss has a spanner (tool) included in the package that will fit the (Tap) faucet-nut that need to be unscrewed and replaced with The Jetfloss adaptor.

Will JetFloss fit on my standard faucet?

JetFloss will fit almost every South African bathroom tap that has a threaded spout (Most do).

Are there any adapter options available for different faucet types?

Yes, the Jetfloss device comes with a range of adaptors that’s will take care of the various tap size differences.

Can I adjust the water pressure for a more comfortable flossing experience?

Yes that is one of the key advantages of JetFloss. You can adapt the pressure to suit yourself. You can also choose between a narrower 0.7mm nozzle width (Firm) and a wider 1,2mm nozzle width (Gentle).

How does the pressure compare to traditional countertop flossers?

JetFloss performs better than most other Flossers because it remains reliable at all times. It is not reliant on internal pumps or batteries or other moving parts that can go wrong. The pressure is governed by you using your tap. It is always at a very acceptable level of between 75 and 100 PSI.

Is JetFloss Safe for children?

Yes but like any household device, should be done initially with adult supervision, until parents are satisfied with the child’s ability to use JetFloss.

Can I Use my tap as normal while the Jetfloss device is connected?

Yes the tap can continue to be used as normal. Jetfloss has a non-return switch which directs the flow of water either to the tap or to your JetFloss device. After using JetFloss, you simply switch it back to the tap.

How effective is JetFloss at removing plaque and food debris compared to string floss?

It is very effective and most dentists will suggest the use of a water flosser as part of your brushing daily oral care regimen.

Is it safe for people with implants, crowns, or bridges?

Yes but the responsibility lies with the person to use a suitable safe and comfortable pressure.

Does JetFloss offer different flossing modes (gentle, massage, etc.)?

There are two different nozzles sizes : 0,7 (Firm) and 1.2mm (Gentle).

How many interchangeable flossing tips are included?

There are three of each nozzle size included in the package.

How often should I clean the JetFloss unit and tips?

There is very little maintenance, if any required for this product.

Are replacement tips readily available for purchase?

There has not been a requirement for the existing offering yet but it is our intention to offer a range of after-market replacement nozzles and brushes soon.

What is the warranty coverage on this JetFloss?

12 Months from purchase.

Does the warranty cover leaks or malfunctions?

Yes

How loud is the JetFloss during operation?

JetFloss makes no noise and its use is as quiet as your tap.

Is it quiet enough for use in the early morning or late at night?

Yes.

How much water does a typical flossing session use?

Between 250 and 500ml.

While connected to the faucet, can the flossing unit be moved for different angles during use?

The angle of the nozzle is set at an optimum of 45 degrees and can be turned on its access for comfort.

Is there a travel-friendly version of this JetFloss available?

Not specifically but it can easily be detached for travel – or better yet, purchase a second JetFloss for travelling.
